Find Vertigo relief with Vitality Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre:

At Vitality Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre, we provide vestibular therapy for our patients suffering from balance disorders. Balance disorders refer to a broad range of conditions, but they are all connected by the effect they have on the vestibular system, also known as the inner ear.

Some common balance disorders that we treat through vestibular therapy include:

• Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
• Meniere’s disease
• Vestibular neuritis
• Migraines
• Stroke

Vestibular therapy, also referred to as vestibular rehabilitation, is conducted through a process of “adaptation and compensation.” This means that the vestibular system is actually being “reprogrammed” through both passive and active therapies to form connections with the brain on adjusting imbalances and regaining stability.

Therapists will wash their hands after each patient treatment session. Gloves will be worn as a necessary for hands-on therapy. Patients will be directed to the clinic hand-washing station upon entering.

Therapist’s clothing will be changed following each shift to decrease the risk of contamination outside the facility. Patients are expected to be wearing treatment-ready clothes for their appointment.
